A Glimpse of Knoebels

Knoebels holds a special place in my heart, and that’s why it is so fun to photograph but also so maddening to photograph… the reason is that it is full of 40 years of memories for me, which makes it so complex. I can’t sum up Knoebels in one day….or one blog post. I want to photograph every little piece of it…and the more I think about it the more ideas and memories come to the surface. with that being said…

I figured I would try my best and post the pieces of Knoebels that I captured this weekend. Then I will do it again..another time…and most likely a few more times after that.

This week we had our 2nd milestone there. ( the first was when my son Oliver was tall enough to ride the Phoenix for the first time) This was the trip that he was big enough to ride an outside horse on the carousel and grab for the rings!

Here’s a glimpse of Knoebels with my son Oliver and his best friend, Liam.

The Skloosh ride not only soaks those on the ride, but on your way out you can stand on the bridge and get soaked all over again.

Golden hour at the swings!

I always called these the " salt and Pepper shakers"
